London, 26th July 2010 – The mere mention of Wireless Logic – www.wirelesslogic.co.uk – on the BBC’s popular Dragon’s Den saw record hits to its corporate website today (Monday 26th July 2010). Wireless Logic is Europe's leading M2M aggregator helping system integrators and end-users to develop and manage wireless applications seamlessly and cost effectively, by supplying airtime, connectivity and management tools. In the UK, the organisation partners with O2, Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile.
During the programme, Dragon Peter Jones talked about his association with Wireless Logic as a major shareholder as he considered a highly enticing pitch by Lancaster-based FGH Security, one of the largest security suppliers in the UK. The pitch led to FGH becoming one of the few companies in all eight series of Dragon’s Den to be offered the full £100,000 investment by all five Dragons.
“At about 10pm GMT, we saw unprecedented levels of web activity as Dragon’s Den finished and news of FGH Security’s investment achievement hit the news wires,” comments Philip Cole, Sales & Marketing Director and co-founder, Wireless Logic. “For a short period our website went into meltdown as our servers coped with thousands of unique visitors wanting to understand more about the association with the programme. We are delighted that FGH has secured such a commitment from the Dragons. We will be exploring the opportunity to add Wireless Logic connectivity to FGH’s integrated security solutions in the coming months.”
